Growth Groups 101

We believe that small groups are the best way for the church to facilitate our growth as followers of Jesus.

First of all, it is what Jesus modeled for us. He called together a group of men to be with him and to learn from him and with one another.

Second of all, small groups offer community and provide the opportunity to display our love, unity, and gifts that may not be as apparent in the larger group. What's lost in the crowd or congregational gathering can be highlighted and appreciated in the context of small groups.

More than in the congregational celebrations, it is in the intimacy of these small groups - and in the loving, serving relationships displayed - that God can reveal his glory to a watching world.
